Then this could be the role for you. At ValueBlue, we are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant to partner with our Sales and Product teams to effectively support and enable sales trajectories.

As a member of our Solution Consulting team, you will have a major impact on our future success by supporting Solution Sales. You will drive revenue for our software solutions with the support and partnership of Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. This position requires a hands-on, technical consultant who can go wide and deep on solution delivery and solution positioning during sales cycles.

The Senior Solution Consultant is a technical consultant with the advanced ability to develop, position and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory.

  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ValueBlue colleagues
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
  • Learn best practices and create and share reusable assets with other Solution Consultants and stakeholders to enhance the quality and efficiency of ValueBlue
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, delivering webinars, attending conferences, user groups, and trade shows.

Job requirements


To be successful in this role, you have:

  • 8+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience in a product-specific area
  • Technical understanding of SaaS solutions, architecture and modern business applications including integrations
  • An understanding of Digital Transformation and Enterprise Architecture
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
  • Superior presentation and demonstration skills, with a focus on storytelling
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve business and technical problems
  • Storytelling capabilities, translating the capabilities our product offers into how they will solve complex customer challenges
  • Experience of working across a range of industries and the ability to understand the current landscape and typical challenges and opportunities.
  • Travel within Europe when needed
  • Fluent in English, both in writing and verbally
